I collaborated with Professor Marsellos from Hofstra University to conduct geospatial research focused on analyzing tectonic strain in Japan. This student-driven project involved studying strain along tectonic plate boundaries, which is a crucial early indicator of potential earthquake activity. By leveraging advanced geospatial technology and data analysis, we aimed to contribute to earthquake prediction methods, enhancing preparedness and potentially mitigating disaster impacts in earthquake-prone regions like Japan. This research reflects a commitment to using scientific inquiry for real-world applications in seismic hazard assessment.
